Purpose of the NJHS
The purpose of this organization is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, to develop character, and to encourage good citizenship.

Service Hours
Each member is to have ten service hours by April of each year. Five service hours from out-of-school activities and five service hours in school activities. Out of school activities include anything that helps out someone not in the family. Example: pick up trash, help out a neighbor or the elderly, church activities, food bank, animal shelter, etc. In-school activities are activities we complete as NJHS during school hours.
