Monday, November 6 is a student holiday/staff professional development day for ALL LCISD campuses. It is also elementary and middle school UIL competition day; elementary and middle school academic UIL competitors will receive information from their event coaches about competition times and locations.
Tuesday, November 7 is a student holiday/staff professional development day for elementary and middle school campuses ONLY. All LCISD high school campuses will hold classes as usual on Tuesday, November 7.

The Woodrow Road construction project is now scheduled to begin Monday, October 30. This project will have an impact on traffic surrounding South Elementary, Lubbock-Cooper Middle School, and Lubbock-Cooper High School. The WTAMU Symphony Orchestra will screen Buster Keaton's silent comedy, "The General" alongside a newly composed music score by Dr. B.J. Brooks on October 24 at the LCISD PAC, bringing the silent movie experience from the past to today's viewers. Seating is general admission only; tickets are $5 each. Tickets can be pre-purchased through the LCISD Orchestra Program (email rlgonzales@lcisd.net) or may be purchased at the door.
